Hello and welcome to my web site!
My name is Jensine Eckwall. I’m an illustrator and educator proudly located in Ridgewood, NY.
Photo by Nikki SciosciaYou’ll be me most likely to find my illustration work inside and on the covers of middle grade novels and a few delightfully odd picture books. You may also come across it in newspaper editorials, maps, murals, stamps, you never know! Whatever needs that spooky-sweet-earnest-historical flavor, I’ll be there.

My education practice and my art practice are both active and alive. Currently, I am proud to be a member of part-time faculty at Parsons the New School and SVA, which were I am privileged to teach various disciplines such as the use of lettering and language in illustration, multimedia animation for illustrators, visual criticism and analsis skills, long-term project management and portfolio development.
Currently I’m in the process of becoming certitied to teach English to Speakers of Other Languages at New School.
